Art is all about connection for me. In every piece I create I seek to share the emotion, the journey & meaning behind the piece. Art is transformative. As long as humans have been making marks it has been about sharing story & transporting the viewer to a different place and time. My story is such that I hope to encourage, inspire, and create moments of peace and joy for others. Living in the moment is so important to me and it is my sincere hope that my work allows others to do just that, one look at a time.

Art has always been an escape for Julie and a way to express the inspiration she finds in nature. Having battled anxiety and depression as far back as memory reaches, creating art is Julie's way of encouraging others and self to breathe in the moment, usher in peace and celebrate the present. Nature nourishes the soul and resets. Nothing exists but sky, and breath, and the feel of the wind. All of nature sings and is filled with awe inspiring complexity.
Julie lives in beautiful East Tennessee with her Jr. High sweetheart, husband Stephan and Great Dane, Kenzie. Julie's mission is to share beauty, courage, peace, kindness to self, and healing.
